The City of Vaughan is accepting applications for future temporary administrative/clerical opportunities. Applying under Future Opportunities enables you to keep an application on file for 6 months so that you may be considered when a temporary administrative/clerical position becomes available. Responsible for:Performing general clerical duties including, but not limited to, preparing correspondence, reports, statements and other material. Answering phone calls, emails, and providing front counter assistance to residents. Scheduling meetings, and operating office equipment.
• High school diploma in addition to some post secondary courses• 1 year administrative/clerical experience. Municipal experience considered an asset.• Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills • Strong time management skills• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Superior customer service skills• Competency in computer literacy utilizing most current MS Office software applications including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
